Ying Guo is a physiatrist and Professor in the Department of Palliative, Rehabilitation & Integrative Medicine at University of Texas M D Anderson Cancer Center. She graduated from the Third Military Medical University in 1985, later received MS in Microbiology and Immunology. She completed a residency in PM&R at Baylor College of Medicine in 1999.

Dr. Guo is board certified in PM&R, Electrodiagnostic Medicine, medical acupuncture and LANA. She has been practicing at M D Anderson Cancer Center and sees exclusively cancer patients for the last 22 years. As an academically active physiatrist, Dr. Guo has written numerous book chapters, published peer-reviewed original research articles, and given lectures at national and international conferences.
