Jack B. Fu, MD is a physiatrist and Professor in the Department of Palliative, Rehabilitation & Integrative Medicine at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Adjunct Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Texas-Houston, McGovern Medical School. He also serves as Director of the PM&R Clinic at MD Anderson. Dr. Fu is board certified in both brain injury medicine and physical medicine & rehabilitation by the American Board of PM&R. He has been practicing at MD Anderson Cancer Center for 15 years and sees exclusively cancer patients. He served as the ACRM Cancer Rehabilitation Networking Group – Research Task Force Co-Chair from 2014-2018. Dr. Fu has published numerous peer-reviewed original journal articles and book chapters, as well as given many lectures at national and international conferences. Dr. Fu is an expert in the fields of brain cancer rehabilitation, inpatient cancer rehabilitation and the management of medical complications in an oncologic rehabilitation setting. He is one of the most academically active cancer rehabilitation physiatrists in the world.
