Margaret M. (Maggie) Weightman PT, PhD. is a senior scientific advisor and physical therapist at the Courage Kenny Research Center-Allina Health, Minneapolis. Her research interests are in evaluating assessments and interventions for persons with stroke and traumatic brain injury most specifically concussion/mild traumatic brain injury. Dr. Weightman’s research has been supported by grants from the State of MN, the Department of Defense and the Courage Kenny Foundation. Previously, she has served as a tenured faculty member in the physical therapy program at St. Catherine University (St. Paul, MN), and as an ORISE Fellow with the U.S. Army Center for Health Promotion and Preventive Medicine. Dr. Weightman mentors clinician-led research at CKRC.
