Dennis Torre, PT, PhD has been a NYS licensed physical therapist since 1984. In December 2017, he was awarded a PhD in Health Sciences with a specialization in Movement Science from the School of Health and Medical Sciences, Department of Inter-professional Health Sciences & Health Administration at Seton Hall University. He has been an Assistant Professor/part-time faculty in the Physical Therapy program at SUNY Downstate since fall 2018. His teaching responsibilities include Motor Control/Motor Learning & Neuromuscular course work. My research interests include the study of motor control & motor learning issues during gait & turning, and trunk stabilization training for dynamic balance & those with low back pain.
