Dr. McPherson earned a clinical doctorate in Physical Therapy and a PhD in Rehabilitation Science from the University at Buffalo (UB). He is a board-certified neurologic PT clinical specialist and has obtained advanced competency in vestibular rehabilitation. His research as part of the team at UB's Concussion Management Clinic and Research Center focuses on clinical management of concussion as well as expression of neurotrophic factors in response to mild TBI. McPherson serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor within UB's Department of Rehabilitation Science and remains active in clinical practice.
