I am Naif Alrashdi, a PhD candidate student in the Rehabilitation Science Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from Majmaah University (MU), Saudi Arabia. I further received a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Science from Concordia University Wisconsin, United States. My prior experience involved working as a teaching assistant in the Physical Therapy Department at MU. I also practiced physical therapy, delivering rehabilitation to individuals with various musculoskeletal conditions (i.e., ACL, LBP, lower extremity disorders). My recent research has been nominated amongst the top 4 of Hip-Related research submissions by The Academy of Orthopaedic Physical Therapy (Spotlight on Hip Research; Combined Section Meeting, 2021). Currently, I am interested in examining Pre-and-Post Operative Physical Activity Levels and Rehabilitation-Specific Predictors (muscle performance and movement patterns) in individuals with Pre-Arthritic Hip Diseases (FAIS and HD). In my spare time, I enjoy outdoor walking, exploring new café places and restaurants, and socialize with friends.
