Lingjun Chen is a PhD student in the Rehabilitation Science Department at the University of Kansas Medical Center. I received her BS degree in Rehabilitation Therapeutics from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine (China), her MS degree in Physiotherapy from Cardiff University (UK) and Kinesiology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I am interested in balance and postural control in movements. I believe the multi-disciplinary research would bring opportunities in making differences in clinical practice. Currently, I am working on the project understanding the impact of natural aging on head control, as a part of development of head impact prevention strategy during falls in the older populations.
