Yating Lei is a doctoral student in the Department of Occupational Therapy at New York University. She completed her M.S. and B.S. in Occupational Therapy from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the West China School of Medicine, Sichuan University.
Yating has over three years of clinical experience focusing on the treatment of neurological disorders in adults. She also worked as a research associate and contributed to various research projects that focused on cognitive and neurological rehabilitation.
Her research interests include functional cognition, cognitive remediation, self-management and self-regulation, telehealth and mobile health applications in rehabilitation medicine. She is also interested in using of functional and structural imaging methods to identify biomarkers of cognitive deficits.
