Skills and competencies: Dr. Way is responsible for the design, implementation, data management, statistical analysis, and publication of health outcomes studies. He is well-versed in a variety of statistical approaches and research methodologies and works in a variety of therapeutic areas, including hematology, immunology, oncology, and CNS.
Background and experience: Dr. Way brings over a decade of research and analytics experience to the Health Outcomes Practice at Cerner Enviza. He primarily contributes to custom patient studies, custom physician studies, and non-interventional studies that utilize medical charts, patient-reported surveys, and electronic health records. Before joining Cerner Enviza, Dr. Way conducted geriatric cognitive decline research as a Research Associate at Stanford University, where he served as a statistical analyst and author for patient-centric research.
Dr. Way earned his BA in Psychology from Colgate University and his PhD in Behavioral Science Research from UC Santa Barbara, where he sharpened his expertise in experimental and non-experimental research methodologies
