Christopher Stavisky is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Rehabilitation Science in the School of Public Health and Health Professions at the University at Buffalo in Buffalo, NY. His research interests include: the effects of health and health-related states on human motivation; cognitive rehabilitation; assistive technology; adaptive sports and recreation; and acquired brain injury. He is an Occupational Therapist with extensive experience in the areas of physical disabilities and cognitive rehabilitation. Areas of special clinical interest include brain injury rehabilitation, spinal cord injury rehabilitation, cognitive rehabilitation, use of assistive technology within cognitive rehabilitation, and upper extremity prosthetics.
