I am a PhD student and Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Nutrition Sciences at the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology. My current research aims to investigate whether differences in physical activity and neuromuscular development exist prior to the development of obesity in children at high versus low risk, and whether associations of physical activity with adiposity, insulin resistance, and neuromuscular performance differ for children at high versus low risk for obesity.
