Dr. Ann Tilton specializes in Child Neurology at Children’s Hospital. She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, and completed her residency training at University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. Dr. Tilton is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with special qualifications in child neurology and the American Board of Psychiatric and Neurology in clinical neurophysiology. With more than 30 years of experience as a Pediatric Neurologist, Dr. Tilton serves as a Professor of Neurology and Pediatrics at LSU Health New Orleans. When asked why she chose to practice Pediatric Neurology, Dr. Tilton said, “I have always enjoyed interacting with children and their families. Additionally, I find the developing nervous system fascinating, and caring for patients that have disorders that affect it are both challenging and deeply rewarding.”
