Dr. Huang’s overall research interest is to identify the role of cortical and neuromuscular control while executing a functional task in the virtual reality environment in healthy and neurodegeneration population. His field of research interest includes biomechanical human movement science, occupational safety and health, and applied ergonomics in minimal invasive surgery. Dr. Huang obtained his PhD in Physical Therapy with biomechanics focus from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and completed his postdoctoral training at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation Science & Athletic Training at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
