Mr Christopher Kuah is a Principal Occupational Therapist at the Centre for Advanced Rehabilitation Therapeutics (Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore), where his work focuses on the clinical integration of rehabilitation technologies. His neurorehabilitation interests include management of clients with hemiplegia and those with complex neuro-disability as a result of stroke and acquired brain injuries. Actively involved in research collaborations with local and overseas collaborators from various higher learning and research institutions, his research scope includes application of brain-computer interface, robotics and sensor technologies for post-stroke movement recovery. In March 2016, he was awarded the Ng Teng Fong Healthcare Innovation Grant to conduct a study of a virtual reality telerehabilitation system for outpatient and home therapy. He is also currently seconded to the Rehabilitation Research Institute of Singapore as a Research Scientist.
