Flora Nikolaou is a PhD student in Clinical Psychology at the University of Cyprus. She is also a Special Scientist at the Center for Applied Neuroscience (CAN) of University of Cyprus. She completed her master’s degree in Neuroscience with Distinction at the Cyprus School of Molecular Medicine of The Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics and her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at University of Cyprus. Her research interests focus in the area of neurological disorders and specifically Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), with a focus on gender issues. She is currently working at the project BRAIN REHAB which is a 3-year project hosted by the Center for Applied Neuroscience and funded by the Cyprus Research and Innovation Foundation. BRAIN REHAB is generating cutting edge research in brain injury neurorehabilitation. Flora Nikolaou has a 5-year experience in conducting neuropsychological assessments as she has been working at the CAN, since 2017.
