Adriana Conforto is a neurologist and head of the Stroke Group at Hospital das Clínicas/University of São Paulo in Brazil. She is also a researcher at the Albert Einstein Hospital in São Paulo. She graduated in Medicine at Campinas State University, did her Neurology residency and PhD at Hospital das Clínicas/University of São Paulo, fellowships at the National Institutes of Neurological Disorders and Stroke/National Institute of Health in the United States and Inselspital/University of Bern in Switzerland. She received a postdoctoral degree from the Albert Einstein Hospital and a professor degree from the University of São Paulo. She coordinates the Stroke Program and the Stroke Databank at Hospital das Clínicas/University of São Paulo. Her main research interests are stroke rehabilitation, neuromodulation, acute stroke care and cerebral venous thrombosis.
