- Physical Therapist with a Master degree and Ph.D in Physical Therapy. During PhD period, did a research
internship at the Institute for Musculoskeletal Health associated of the University of Sydney. Has 9 years of
experience in exercise prescription and rehabilitation training for different populations (healthy, elderly,
sarcopenics, smokers, dialysis, respiratory and cardiac patients).
- 6 years of teaching experience at university level (Physiotehrapy, Nutrition and Pharmacy departments). Have
a strong background in active learning techniques for the classroom including team base learning, problem
based learning, objective structured clinical examination and peer instruction.
- Experience in conducting different studies designs including randomized controlled trials, systematic reviews,
qualitative research and observational studies. Skills in writing grant proposals, performing presentations and
lectures, managing funded projects, collecting, organizing and analyzing data, writing and submitting papers to
peer reviews journals and reviewing manuscripts.
- Solid research experience and several scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals of exercise and
rehabilitation
