As a behavioral and social scientist, I see the healthcare system as a complex social system. My research seeks to answer the question ‘What does it take to improve the healthcare system and ensure better outcomes for children with chronic health conditions?” Over the last 12 years I, along with colleagues, have answered this question by designing, developing, studying and optimizing Learning Health Networks. As a result, I am an expert in the science and practice of Learning Health Networks.
