Amy has an Undergraduate degree in Psychology from University of Waterloo and a Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University. Amy contributed to Social Work research throughout her Master's education and has continued in a research role after graduation. With a background as a youth mental health support person, the need for multiple avenues of healing in mental health has stuck with her and led her to work at National Service Dogs (NSD). In this role Amy looks forward to helping people connect with an NSD Service Dog and experiencing this unique support facilitated by service dogs.
