Dr. Sarah Munce, PhD is a Scientist in the LIFEspan Service at the KITE Research Institute, Toronto Rehabilitation Institute (TRI)-University Health Network and an Assistant Professor (status) in the Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy with cross appointments at the Rehabilitation Sciences Institute (RSI) and Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation (IHPME) at the University of Toronto. Her program of research relates to the development, implementation, and evaluation of transitional care interventions (e.g., self-management, peer support/navigation interventions) for individuals with neurological conditions. She is a Graduate Coordinator at the RSI. She is also a member of the TRI Academic Advisory where is co-leading the development and implementation of the KINSHIP mentorship program for early career researchers. She is a 2022 AMS Healthcare Fellow in Compassion and Artificial Intelligence. She has been the previous Membership Chair for the Mixed Methods International Research Association. Her research has been funded by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, and the Craig Neilsen Foundation.
