Born unto humble beginnings in Padang, Indonesia, and completing his undergraduate in the University of Toronto with a double major in Human Biology and French Linguistics, Dr. Oey is currently a Physiatry trainee in the Singapore Health Services Residency program. Honing a passion for discovering new cures for old diseases, Dr. Oey is a clinican-scientist with a focus on regenerative medicine, translational clinical research in brain stimulation, and induced pluripotent stem cell research.
