Kritzia Merced, Ph.D is a research fellow in the VISN6 Mental Illness Research, Education, Clinical, Centers of Excellence (MIRECC) at the Hunter Holmes McGuire Veterans Hospital in Richmond, VA. She is also a faculty affiliate in the Department of Psychology and the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Virginia Commonwealth University. She completed her predoctoral internship in the Durham VA Healthcare System in North Carolina. Dr. Merced recently joined the Polytrauma Rehabilitation Center’s TBIMS project in Richmond VA Medical Center. She also serves as a member for Rehabilitation Psychology Div 22 Social Media Committee, providing support with initiatives focused on increasing health literacy, awareness, and visibility of rehabilitation psychology’s professional practice and research findings.
