Julie Ries PT PhD is new to ACRM. She is a Professor of Physical Therapy and Research Fellow for the Center for Optimal Aging at Marymount University in Arlington VA. She is a clinician and educator with a focus in rehabilitation of older adults and neurological rehabilitation . Her research interests relate to clinical management of and interaction with individuals with dementia, including psychometric properties of outcome measures, balance training interventions, and clinician competencies for working with this population.
