Rick is a senior clinical implementation SME with private, governmental, and DoD CONUS/OCONUS health system experience (United States, Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa). He has expertise in global leadership, DoD medical care delivery and systems design, emergency & trauma services operations, and emergency management systems. Rick has served as an Army Nurse Corps Officer for twenty years and as a former staff officer and Emergency Consultant to the Army Medical Department, Office of the Surgeon General, and he has developed and implemented MHS innovations involving complex systems integration. Recent projects include support for implementation of clinical practice guidelines for the Joint Trauma System, Post-Partum Hemorrhage Bundle implementation for the DHA WICC, and Direct Access to Physical Therapy for the DHA Leading Practice Program.
