Dr. Ann Guernon is an Assistant Professor at Lewis University in the Speech-Language Pathology graduate program and a Research Health Scientist at the Hines VA. She conducts mixed methods research focused on cognitive-communication treatment development and implementation for persons following TBI. Her work also strives to develop an understanding of how communication and interactions between a variety of stakeholders influences person-centered care throughout the continuum of injury prevention and rehabilitation for TBI ranging from youth sport concussion through adults in disordered states of consciousness.
