Mickey is an Assistant Professor at North Central College’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. He completed his PT degrees from D'Youville College in Buffalo New York and his Doctor of Science Degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore. As a life long learner Mickey has completed his Orthopedic Clinical Specialty (OCS) and Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (FAAOMPT) as well as recently completing his International Diploma in Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy (DipMDT). He has worked across multiple clinical settings throughout his 18 years in clinical practice, but practice focus has revolved around Musculoskeletal and Neuro-Vestibular Disorders.
Recently Dr. Shah has been working on developing clinical assessment and treatment protocols with Virtual Reality (VR) across a diverse patient population. His current focus on research includes utilizing VR for clinical assessment and treatment of acute and chronic dizziness.
