Daniel Pierce, MD, is an Assistant Professor at University of Nebraska Medical Center with a joint appointment at VA Nebraska-Western Iowa. After completing undergraduate studies in 2010, he joined the Kessler Foundation Research Center as a research assistant in the Human Performance and Engineering Lab. He left Kessler to pursue medical training at St. George’s University, graduating in 2017. After completing a prelim medicine internship at Georgetown Washington Hospital Center in Washington DC, he returned to New Jersey for residency training at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He then completed a VA advanced fellowship in quality and patient safety, through the VA Puget Sound Health Care System and University of Washington.
