Dr. Runa Bhaumik, PhD has completed her doctoral degree from DePaul University in 2011. She joined University of Illinois as a research assistant professor in Psychiatry department. She has the expertise in statistical analysis including sample size determination, power analysis, longitudinal mixed effect modeling, machine learning, support vector analyses and graph theory approaches. She has served as Co-Investigator or Biostatistician on numerous NIH funded projects; two focus on development of a new statistical analysis system for pharmacology and a predictive model using neuroimaging data which employ similar analytic approaches to high dimensional data. She is also an active collaborator with several public health and psychiatry investigators at UIC, which includes longitudinal mixed-effect modeling, structural equation modeling and machine learning methodologies and statistical analysis. Her scientific contribution to research has yielded 32 peer-reviewed publications.
