Leah Mercier is a PhD Candidate in Neuroscience at the University of Calgary. She completed her BSc at McGill University, majoring in Pharmacology. Leah then went on to pursue a PhD in Neuroscience, focussed on treatments for persistent post-concussive symptoms following mild traumatic brain injury, such as exercise, repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation and treatment of post-traumatic growth hormone deficiency. Leah’s other research interests including the use of Music in Medicine and specifically music therapy delivered by Certified Music Therapists in the Neurorehabilitation setting. Leah is a member of HEAR (Health, Education, Advocacy, Research) Music Alberta.
