Dr. Katherine Payne is an assistant professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She is the medical director of inpatient rehabilitation at the University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora, Colorado. In addition to providing care for patients across the acute care hospital and acute inpatient rehabilitation unit, she is also the director of amputation rehabilitation which includes a twice weekly outpatient clinic. She is a member of the Limb Restoration Program at the University of Colorado and guides the functional recovery of patients undergoing amputation and osseointegration.
