Dr. Weintraub has been in the field of Brain Injury Medicine and Neurorehabilitation for over 35 years. He served as the Medical Director of Craig Hospital and the Rocky Mountain Brain Injury Systems Brain Injury Program between 1985 through 2020 and continues to provide expert clinical and evidence informed best practices consultations for survivors and families dealing with catastrophic severe brain injury and its life long sequelae. Dr. Weintraub is an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Colorado School Medicine, a Fellow of the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine and serves on Board of Governors for the North American Brain Injury Society.Consistently recognized as a Colorado 5280 "Top Doc" and Us News World Report and Castle Connelly "Best Physicians", Dr. Weintraub is recognized as a brain injury research clinical scientist with decades of experience managing severe brain injury and lectures to audiences locally, regionally and nationally on issues surrounding this complex patient population.
