Dr. Lauren Ziaks earned a Bachelors in Athletic Training and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, with a concentration in Business, from Northeastern University. She is certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation through the Duke University competency course and is a Board-Certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist. Since 2015, Dr. Ziaks has built a specialized comprehensive concussion management program which she now leads at Park City Hospital. Her primary focus is vision and vestibular rehabilitation to address chronic headaches, difficulty with school/work, reading deficits, attention deficits, exercise intolerance, and dizziness and balance issues post head trauma. She has successfully implemented these protocols with >1200 patients with concussion. Her newest endeavor is assisting with building objective and standardized protocols to improve the management of dysautonomia secondary to a variety of conditions including concussion and long-COVID. Dr. Ziaks is a published author and enjoys mentoring clinicians in the use of her protocols as well as presenting at the University, State, and National level with a goal of closing the knowledge gap in the management of concussion and dysautonomia.
