This session describes the knowledge translation approach that the Model Systems Knowledge Translation Center (MSKTC) and Burn Model System (BMS) researchers take to developing and disseminating user-friendly print and video resources to support burn rehabilitation. Presenters will share how the MSKTC and BMS researchers have applied an integrated knowledge to action framework and engage burn survivors and their family members to develop, test, disseminate, and promote the use of burn rehabilitation resources at https://msktc.org/burn. Presenters will also review a dissemination and utilization planning template that can be adapted by researchers to support outreach activities. The template helps users identify objectives, target audiences, dissemination tactics, and opportunities to promote utilization. In addition, presenters will demonstrate how the MSKTC and BMS operationalize its dissemination and utilization plan and strategies through a multi-faceted approach.
