Swedish Pain Services, a tertiary comprehensive pain center, integrates various functional restoration interdisciplinary pain rehabilitation programs within the comprehensive pain clinic menu of services. This session will review the "Structured Functional Restoration Program", an interdisciplinary pain program, which provides 5 hours per day, 3 day per week, 4-week treatment programs, which includes individual and group therapy (physical and occupational therapy, relaxation training, pain psychology and pain education). The session will also highlight the integration of pain neuroscience education (PNE) approach and therapeutic movement (i.e. Tai Chi) into a traditional biopsychosocially-based rehabilitation model. The session will also highlight electronic medical record integration to track patient related outcomes (PROs) and tips on how the program has been promoted at the system level as a key component to the pain management service line supporting a large system wide ambulatory care network.
