Fatigue is one of the most persistent symptoms after acquired brain injury, but few studies have investigated the impact of daily activities (e.g., academic, social) on fatigue in children with traumatic brain injury (TBI). The primary aim of this study was to compare subjective parent- and self-reports of fatigue across daily activities between children with TBI and typically developing (TD) children. The findings of this study support the chronic nature of fatigue after childhood TBI. Comparing fatigue between children with TBI and TD children and across daily activities highlights opportunities for rehabilitation professionals to refine their supports and services o improve the academic and social participation of children with TBI.
