Collaborative care as an approach to the treatment of pain after traumatic brain injury (TBI) is effective in reducing pain interference as well as pain intensity. Additional benefit is also evident for co-occurring pain and anxiety.

Define how collaborative care for the treatment of pain was conducted in a rehabilitation clinic.
Identify the most frequent strategies used in the treatment of chronic pain in the collaborative care intervention.
