The purpose of the NIDILRR Advanced Rehabilitation Research Training (ARRT) Program is to increase capacity in the field to conduct high-quality disability and rehabilitation research. Grants are provided to institutions to prepare individuals with doctorates or similar advanced degrees who have clinical or other relevant experience to conduct independent research with particular attention to research areas that support the implementation and objectives of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. In partnership with ACRM, NIDILRR selects five ARRT postdoctoral fellows to present research relevant to the ACRM mission and audience during the ACRM Annual Conference.
