The Activity-Based Covid-19 Treatment (ACT) program was developed and implemented in routine care at Forsterket Rehabilitering Aker, Norway. The program consists of pulmonary exercise and high-intensity gait training, a novel intervention not previously described in this patient population. The program was piloted on 28 participants, and the analyses show the intervention is both safe and feasible for participants receiving rehabilitation post-Covid-19. A unique insight into the characteristics of this patient population, the activity level throughout the rehabilitation stay, and the functional outcomes achieved will be described in the symposium.
