This course will present the state of the science related to precision impairment measures in neurorehabilitation. It will focus on the current and future implementation of sensor technology after stroke. Speakers will share examples from the perspectives of both researchers and clinicians. Participants will discuss barriers and facilitators to adopting sensor-based impairment measures and rehabilitation technology into clinical practice. Finally, participants will be invited to join a counterpoint discussion contrasting the importance of impairment measures with performance measures in daily life, with clinical rehabilitation research leaders.
