Dr. Kanika Monga is a member of the American College of Rheumatology’s Communication and Marketing Committee. She also served as ACR's spokesperson for Rheumatic Disease Awareness Month 2020. She completed her internship and residency training at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in Houston and performed her fellowship in rheumatology there as well. She is a physician in the Division of Rheumatology at Methodist Hospital at the Texas Medical Center where she treats a broad spectrum of rheumatic diseases. Her interests include medical journalism and patient advocacy.
