A native of Pittsburgh, Dr. Christine Peoples received her BS in Biology from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA. She went on to receive her MD from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey, PA. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, in Boston, MA and her fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA. After completing an additional post-doctoral research fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh, she joined the faculty and is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology. Dr. Peoples completed her Certificate in Clinical Research from the Institute for Clinical Research Education at the University of Pittsburgh and is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. She is a champion of Telehealth and recognizes the opportunity to expand much-needed clinical care to rheumatology patients regardless of geographic location.
