Tamar (Wheeler) Abel holds a BS in biochemistry from The University of Vermont. She is currently a PhD candidate in the Molecular and Cellular Biology program at the Guarini Graduate School of Dartmouth College. Her research focuses on the epigenetic drivers of the rare autoimmune disease Systemic Sclerosis using a 3D tissue skin-equivalent organoid model system.
