As a rheumatologist my main focus of research is Systemic sclerosis. In this area I
concentrate on biomarkers and especially semaphorins, regulatory B and T cells
and on the other hand in the role of lysyl oxidase in fibrosis and vasculopathy, the
main pathologic processes in systemic sclerosis.
I am a pioneer in Israel in the area of treatment of systemic sclerosis by autologous
stem cell transplantation and investigate the changes in the immune in this process.
