Sofia Pedro, MSc is the Lead Statistician at FORWARD, The National Databank for Rheumatic Diseases. Very familiar with the iterative process of translating applied questions into statistical procedures, her research interests fall within the analysis of longitudinal data, survival analysis, biostatistical methods, in general, pharmacoepidemiology and outcomes research.
Dr Pedro graduated in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science by the University of Lisbon, Portugal and completed a Masters in Statistics from the New University of Lisbon. She has been working as a Medical Statistician since 2005, starting her career at Cardiff University, UK.
