Dr Stefania Croci is a Biotechnologist with a PhD in Oncology. She has 22 years of research experience. She has been trained at the University of Bologna (Italy) on cancer immunoprevention and mechanisms of metastasis. She is actually working at the Azienda Unità Sanitaria Locale-IRCCS in Reggio Emilia (Italy) on inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. She is mainly interested in giant cell arteritis, Takayasu arteritis and Behcet’s disease. Researches are focused on the identification of biomarkers for diagnosis and disease activity, predictors of response to therapies and novel pathogenic pathways. She has expertise in immunology, cell culture, flow cytometry, molecular biology including high throughput assays and protein profiling.
