I am a board-certified adult rheumatologist at the Ohio State University. As a physician-scientist, my ultimate goal is to identify treatment strategies to preserve physical function and improve outcomes of patients with rheumatologic conditions. My research is broadly focused on understanding how insulin resistance and obesity affect physical function and disease activity of patients with rheumatoid arthritis, and developing novel treatment strategies using nutritional and exercise interventions.
