Richard Seto recently graduated from Rheumatology fellowship from UCLA Health. Research interests include the cardiovascular implications of autoimmune disease and accompanying methods of detection and treatment. As a rheumatologist with a background in cardiovascular devices and engineering, he seeks opportunities to use technology to improve rheumatological care. Prior to his career as a physician, he had multiple engineering roles in medical devices including R&D, Quality, Packaging, Market Claims, and inventor with a patent for cardiovascular devices. Throughout his medical training, he sought to improve the healthcare access and outcomes of underserved populations. Richard completed his Internal Medicine Residency at LAC + USC Medical Center, and his Rheumatology Fellowship at University of California, Los Angeles.
