Michael is Professor of Musculoskeletal Medicine at Flinders University and the Network Director of Rheumatology Services in the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network. He is an active clinician, researcher and teacher in areas including musculoskeletal medicine, medical education and occupational medicine.
Michael is a Flinders University medical graduate and is dual qualified, being a Fellow of the College of Physicians (Rheumatology) and a Fellow of the Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
His is the chair of the Adult Training Committee for rheumatology in the RACP and has also previously been the Chief Censor of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine (RACP). He is also an examiner for both the College of Physicians and the Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
