Dr. Vasquez-Canizares received her MD at Universidad de La Sabana in Chia, Colombia, and her MS in Clinical Research at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center. She completed her postgraduate training in Pediatrics at Cooper University Hospital and in Pediatric Rheumatology at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM). Dr. Vasquez-Canizares is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics. Her research interest is on juvenile scleroderma and is an active member of the scleroderma working group within the Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance (CARRA).
