I obtained my B.A. in Molecular Biology from UC San Diego and my Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Washington, and completed a post-doctoral fellowship with Dr. Mark Schlissel at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. I joined ZymoGenetics in 1999 and during my 17 year tenure there, I worked on various programs including IL-21/IL-21 mAb, IL-31 mAb, IL-20 mAb, atacicept, and various immuno-oncology discovery projects. In 2016, I joined Alpine Immune Sciences as Senior Director of Translational Sciences and have contributed to the preclinical development of ALPN-101 (ICOSL vIgD-Fc), ALPN-202 (CD80 vIgD-Fc), and ALPN-303 (TACI vTD-Fc).
